Structural Engineering Analysis Completed For New Roof Mounted HVAC Equipment

TR2, The Roof Reinforcer, Inc.,, is pleased to announce the completion of it's contract to provide for structural support of new and upgraded HVAC equipment at this busy retail center in Springfield, Virginia. Eight units in all are being replaced or added on the roof top. The existing roof structure is a standard metal deck and steel joist system, manufactured in accordance with SJI standards at the time. This Lincoln Nebraska center is anticipating the installation of new HVACs before the Christmas season. Tim McCarthy P.E., a leading supplier of turnkey structural engineering services, has been contracted to facilitate the city approval of the the structure for the new and improved equipment. The company reports that the one section has been completed and submitted to the Owner. The report indicates that the structure will require reinforcements in order to support the equipment contemplated by the owner.
Tim McCarthy P.E. will supply labor and materials as required to complete the reinforcements necessary to safely support the new equipment.
